The Barry W. Lowe and Karen Sue Lowe Foundation for Education was created in 2015 to support education for children and young adults in the Bartlesville, Oklahoma area. The late Barry W. Lowe had a passion for education. He served on the Bartlesville Public School board for ten years, four of those as president. As a recipient of a scholarship, Barry earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and later his M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University. His passion and legacy live on in the creation of this Foundation. Karen Lowe-Alton graduated from Rogers State University with degrees in Computer Science (A.S.) and Applied Technology (B.S.). Her goal is to continue supporting the local school system and youth through the Foundation while remaining in alignment with Barry’s wishes.
